HVAC Tune-Ups & Repairs

HVAC Tune-ups & Repairs
for Gainesville, FL & the Surrounding Area

When it comes to making sure that your system is operating as it should, proper HVAC maintenance is key. Your heating system should be cleaned thoroughly, inspected, and adjusted by an expert technician prior to starting it up during cooler weather. Changing the filter and inspecting internal parts for any signs of damage and making furnace repairs as needed will allow your system to operate more efficiently.

Likewise, your AC system should have the same maintenance services performed by the same expert technician prior to its first use of the summer season. As part of our HVAC maintenance services, our experienced team can evaluate your heating and cooling systems and make any necessary repairs to ensure your peace of mind no matter what the weather is like outside.

Having Trouble with Your Heating? Check for the Following Things:

  • Check that your room thermostat temperature is set above the house temperature as indicated on the thermostat, and the system switch is in the “HEAT” position.
  • Check the blower access panel. The unit will not operate if it’s not firmly in place.
  • On gas furnaces equipped with electronic ignition, turn the room thermostat to “OFF,” allow 5 minutes to pass, then set the thermostat back to “HEAT” to reset the ignition system.
  • Do you have the furnace power supply “ON”?
  • Check the circuit breaker panel for a tripped breaker.

Having Trouble with Your HVAC System? Check for the Following Things:

  • Inspect the air filter and, if dirty, replace it with the same size filter. Another possible cause of insufficient airflow is a blocked return-air or air supply-air grill. Make sure that furniture, boxes, etc. are not blocking the return-air or supply-air grill.
  • Check that your room thermostat temperature selector is set below the house temperature as indicated on the thermostat, and the system switch is in the “COOL” position. Warning! Do not turn the thermostat on, off, and back on without allowing a few minutes to pass to avoid short cycling the compressor.
  • Is the outdoor unit power supply switched “ON”?
  • Check the circuit breaker panel for a tripped breaker.
